What is Urology?

Urology is the study of the kidneys, ureter and bladder.  Urology also includes diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of adult and pediatric problems, ranging from birth defects of the urinary system, kidney stones, urinary incontinence and infections, to prostate disorders, cancer, and sexual problems such as impotence and infertility.
